  1. 2 cups fresh berries - you can use all raspberries, all blackberries, all strawberries or a mixture of the three
  2. 2-4 tablespoons of pure maple syrup or honey
  3. 2 tablespoons white or black chia seeds
  4. pinch of sea salt
  5. pinch of cinnamon
  6. water, as needed depending on how thick or thin you would like your jam
  1. Rinse and dry your berries.
  2. Remove stems from strawberries and cut into quarters.
  3. Place chopped strawberries and/or other berries you are using into a blender. Add in maple syrup/honey. Add in chia seeds. Add in pinch of salt and cinnamon.
  4. Blend until desired consistency is reached. Add in a little water if needed to get things moving in the blender (no more than 1 tablespoon at a time).
  5. * if you do not have a blender you can always mash up the berries with a potato masher or fork
  6. Pour mixture into a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until the jam begins to bubble. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5-7 minutes and the jam begins to thicken to your liking.
  7. Remove from heat and let cool.
  8. Store in fridge for up to 1 week.
